FITMAN at IoT Week 2013
16-20 June 2013, Helsinki, Finland
FITMAN will organize a workshop, in cooperation with the IoT@Work project, at the IoT Week on Wednesday June 19th (09:00-12:00).
Session Entrepreneurship & Business workshop
Workshop "IoT for manufacturing: technological challenges and business cases"
The objective of the IoT for Manufacturing session at IOT Week 2013 is to focus both on the technological challenges posed by the adoption of IoT in the Manufacturing domain and on the potential industrial and socio-economic impact derived from the full take-up of IoT in the whole product life cycle, including post-sales services and recycling. The session therefore wants to foster circulation of ideas, issues and approaches and the establishment of liaisons and synergies and promote the setup of a more synergic, systematic and coherent approach within the EU R&D community.
Both sub-sessions will be conducted as a set of three presentations, mostly but not exclusively represented by EC-funded projects in several areas – IoT, FI PPP, FoF PPP - and by a conclusive panel where the audience and the presenters will be involved in future H2020 moderated discussions.
