An interactive Community Workshop organised by the Future Internet PPP program

The Future Internet PPP (FI-PPP) Programme will hold an interactive Community Workshop to discuss policy, regulatory and business related challenges for making Future Internet a success. The main goal of the workshop is to bring together the relevant stakeholders from industry, policy, intermediary organisations and research and to clearly identify the way ahead to achieve societal and business success of the Future Internet PPP program.

The Workshop will cover two central themes, of high relevance in relation to FI-PPP’s impact and success, which will be approached from both policy and business perspective:

  1. Business ecosystem development and SME engagement for FI-PPP’s impact and success
  2. Open business models and open access policies for exploitation of FI-PPP’s assets

Each theme will be scoped in more detail. Barriers, challenges, possible solutions and recommendations to overcome problems will be identified. Both long-term (business innovation, legal, regulatory, societal, technical conditions, etc.) and short-term pragmatic / best practices actions shall be considered.
